Catch the Vision

March 12, 2016 by Jared and Diana Jantz

CTV - 2016S - 4Several times during the school year NTBI hosts a “Catch the Vision” event where young people who are looking into further education come and visit our school to see “what we are all about”.  This past weekend was one of those events and our Mobilization Team involved all of us!

PSWkend - International Dinner (1)An International Dinner was planned, where staff and students made their favorite foods from the countries they served in or grew up in.

PSWkend - International Dinner (3)Of course, us “Paraguayans” got together and had a table as well. The empanadas (meat turnovers) and chipa quasu (corn bread with cheese) reminded us all of our time in Paraguay.   It was fun working together on this event and the night was a great success.  After dinner there was ice cream (my favorite) – games in the cafe and chapel – and soccer in the gym.

It was good visiting with these young people and their parents and chaperons who came with them.  Pray for those who attended this event – that God will make it clear to them if they are to come our way.
