Covid Christmas

December 31, 2020 by Jared and Diana Jantz

This Christmas was going to look and be different due to covid.  We knew that; it was expected … but little did we know what God was going to do for us!

  • We were able to spend time with my sister, Debbie, who had recently lost her husband the end of November.
  • We were able to visit other family members and a few friends – one on one – keeping our distance for the sake of their health.
  • We were able to celebrate our Lord’s birth with Holly and her family (what joy!) although not at my aunt’s farm, as is tradition, due to her furnace going out.   (Aunt Phyllis thought the space heaters would not keep it warm enough for our grandkids, the youngest being only two months old but we went anyway for a short visit.)
  • And then HE opened a window of good weather for us to travel out to see Heather and her family.  What a blessing and a gift that was to us!

We had made our plans, but God always seems to tweak or totally change those plans … all for His glory!  We trust your Christmas was just as blessed as ours!
