Smashing Trash …

March 27, 2021 by Jared and Diana Jantz

Smashing trash may not seem appealing but it is certainly necessary when the bins are overflowing, and the city garbage truck does not come for another three days.  At times, it can become a bit direr finding space in the bins to dump your trash when you are sharing those garbage bins with seven other apartment dwellers!

So, last weekend, on one of those rare spring days, guess where I found Jared?  He was hanging out around the garbage bins smashing trash!  Although I may not think smashing trash is glamourous or necessary, I can tell you that from where I was standing it looked like work … and fun.  But fun work!  After all, he gets to play in a little yellow and black CAT, right?

Although some of the things Jared does around the school looks like fun, I know it is work.  Please pray for him.  His ministry pulls him in many directions – every day – every week – all the time!
