Not in a Panic … Anymore …

November 29, 2025 by Jared and Diana Jantz

God has given me the opportunity and the privilege of meeting with one of our interns this year.  When asked if I would be willing to meet with her this year as part of the internship program I panicked, thinking, what do I have to offer this little gal, who just graduated in May after studying the Word for two full years.  But then I remembered that mentoring is simply building a relationship where you both show up to give and receive from each other.  It’s investing to the fullest and being open to share what God is doing in your heart and your life.

We are studying about the tongue and reading through the book, Keep It Shut by Karen Ehman, a birthday gift from my brother, Don.  It’s a book about the tongue—”what to say, how to say it, and when to say nothing at all”.  It has been revealing but we are loving it!

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”
Psalm 19:14
