Not My Plans …

April 30, 2026 by Jared and Diana Jantz

We were excited to celebrate our upcoming graduates recently at a dessert banquet in our chapel.  This happens every year before graduation and it is so encouraging.  Every graduate gets to share what God has done in their lives during their two years with us here at the BI.

God has been faithful in spiritually growing our students.  They have seen HIS faithfulness, HIS goodness, and HIS protection.  HE has cemented truths and revealed truths, through HIS Word, that will sustain them. They are secure as to who they are “in” Christ.

Faith, one of our MK’s from Paraguay, shared that HE has shown her repeatedly that HIS plans are better than what she could ever plan or hope for.  Faith, took a gap-year, and then returned to finish her degree.  She, as well as her family, have a special place in our hearts since we spent a lot of time together during our time in Paraguay.  We rejoiced when she returned.  We are so proud of her and will greatly miss her.

And now … we keep our hands open and continue to pray for them.  Will you do the same?
