What is BLACK and RED and can raise roofs?

SpiritWeek-Field Day-062

Did you guess correctly?

Bible School students cheering their team as they competed in games and sports!

SpiritWeek-Field Day-065Earlier this month the school had some fun with School Spirit.  The student body and faculty were divided into two teams – the BLACK Hawks and the RED C (for crimson) – and had great fun being competitive.  For one week the students, and some staff,  stepped out of their normal routine and dressed differently every day in order to win points for their team.  We saw weird hair day, twin day, nerds in ugly sweaters, and of course A LOT of black and red.  The week ended with organized game and sport competitions on Friday night and all day Saturday.SpiritWeek-Field Day-182 We were amazed at how evenly the teams were and in fact, the championship came down to the last sport of the night and to the last game of that sport … co-ed volleyball!

Congratulations go to the RED C who pulled it out this semester!  An ice cream social was enjoyed by all after the deciding game!
