Thought I would share a short, revised excerpt from our January newsletter this month.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u2018As I began to think about writing this month (January), I was mindful of what I wrote last year at this time. I wondered what this new year, 2020, would bring and if my hands would be open to accept what HE<\/u> had for me or would I hold tight to what I<\/u> wanted.<\/p>\n

The year 2020 was a year full of ups and downs.\u00a0 We gained a daughter-in-law (Matthew got married in June) and Holly and Nick had baby #3, (a little girl) in October! \u00a0We also lost family members and very dear people that we loved due to illness and cancer.<\/p>\n

And then there was COVID-19, which caused life changes for all of us – jobs, schooling, ministry, family and friend relationships, social distancing, etc. – big changes!\u00a0 So, in all honesty \u2026 I\u2019m not sure if I am ready for 2021 – but regardless of how I feel, ready or not, the new year, 2021, is here, and I\u2019m wondering again if my hands will be open or are they clenched tightly to what I want?\u2019\"\"<\/p>\n

Let’s pray for each other – that our hearts and our hands will be open to what HE has for us all in this new year!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
