Yesterday, on November 21, tragedy struck our little town of Waukesha. During the annual Christmas parade, a man drove his vehicle through the crowd and parade participants, fatally harming five individuals and injuring close to fifty others.<\/p>\n

Many of our staff and students were in that crowd.\u00a0 One minute they were enjoying the activities and the next minute, they were running for cover, running out of fear, or running to help others. It was chaotic and horrendous.\u00a0 (Jared and I were not there.)<\/p>\n

\"\"We canceled all classes until after the Thanksgiving break. Several of our students are emotionally hurting as they were near the scene. Prayer chapels and small group gatherings are happening around our campus. How thankful we are that none of our people were physically hurt!<\/p>\n

Please pray with us \u2013 for the healing of all those in our community and our school who are affected by this tragic event. We believe that God is still on the throne, that He knows all about this tragedy, and that He can heal bodies and hearts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
