\"\"Once a year, in the fall, the staff ladies at the BI go on a retreat.\u00a0 It is only for one day and one night, and the location is usually not more than 1-2 hours away from the school.<\/p>\n

\"\"This year, I was blessed to share that time with a good friend and former co-worker from Paraguay, who recently transferred from the field to the BI.\u00a0 What joy it was for us to have this time together and to get to know the other staff ladies on a deeper level than just a casual greeting or conversation!<\/p>\n

The theme seemed to be centered around Psalm 23 and how our Shepherd makes, leads, guides, and restores us in our life journeys.\u00a0 I came away humbled and renewed in spirit … and glad that I chose to “come away” for that day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
