On Oct 6, Dad Jantz began to experience some medical issues with his heart and was admitted to the hospital.\u00a0 Other complications arose during his stay and on Oct 16th, Dad decided he wanted all wires and tubes removed.\u00a0 He was done and just wanted to rest. He was transported back to his home, at his care facility and on Oct 19th, we (Glennette, Hugh, Jared and I) said, “good-bye” to him on this side of heaven!<\/p>\n

Dad, wasn’t just dad … he was grandpa … great-grandpa … uncle … brother-in-law … friend … pastor … and prayer warrior. His love for the Lord, his family, his friends, and his church fellowship had always been a driving force his entire life.<\/p>\n

Not long ago, he shared with Jared and me, that God had impressed anew upon his heart that he should be more bold in “inviting others to come ‘home’ with him”.\u00a0 My heart was overwhelmed with that statement and it has encouraged me to do more of the same.<\/p>\n

We have learned over the years, that grief ebbs and flows like the ocean waves.\u00a0 So as we journey through this season of “sorrow and joy” – pray for us.\u00a0 Yes, we miss him terribly, but we have that hope of seeing him again.<\/p>\n
