{"id":73,"date":"2009-12-01T15:15:04","date_gmt":"2009-12-01T20:15:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jared-jantz\/?p=73"},"modified":"2012-01-16T17:04:16","modified_gmt":"2012-01-16T22:04:16","slug":"one-plus-two-equals-%e2%80%a6-six","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jared-jantz\/2009\/12\/01\/one-plus-two-equals-%e2%80%a6-six\/","title":{"rendered":"One Plus Two Equals \u2026 Six?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>How does doing laundry turn into a dinner party?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We were preparing to get a jump on the new semester after our Christmas break by doing laundry before most of the students returned for classes.\u00a0 Unknowingly, that one small decision placed us in a position of hosting a spontaneous dinner party!<\/p>\n<p>By inviting one student for a quick bite, (\u2018nothing special, just hot dogs\u2019) our number began to increase.\u00a0 One invitee became two, three, and then four when friends began seeking out each other.\u00a0 As more kept arriving at our door, we went from one course to another as I pulled food out of the refrigerator and freezer. \u00a0The six of us ended with pizza rolls and cookies.\u00a0 The evening held laughter for all and it was fun getting to know more students in a relaxed atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>Is this something that I intentionally set out and planned?\u00a0 No \u2026 but God certainly had it all worked out \u2013 even having enough food in the cupboard after being away for a week!\u00a0 What a neat way to begin a new semester \u2013 friends, food, and fellowship!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How does doing laundry turn into a dinner party?
