\"IMG_0038-2000\"<\/a>\"IMG_0179-2000\"<\/a>Our minds were held captive as we entered the room.\u00a0 The dimmed lights, the palm trees, and the beautiful flowers transported us to a land of enchantment.\u00a0 The sitting areas were inviting and charming with its hanging vines.\u00a0 The buffet tables were lavished with meats and cheeses, fruits and chocolates.\u00a0 It was all so magical and just the beginning of the evening!<\/p>\n

\"IMG_1897\"<\/a>This past weekend the seniors here at Bible School were honored with a banquet.\u00a0 In fact, one of those seniors was our son, Matthew,\u00a0 so it was a privilege to be a part of this event.\u00a0 Many spoke of where they had come from and how their journey began two years ago.\u00a0 Some came with preconceived ideas of having life all figured out until they allowed themselves to know God better. \u00a0\"IMG_1847\"<\/a>Several came thinking they already knew God and what He wanted for their lives but then those desires changed when they began to spend more time in His Word.\u00a0 And others simply came because it was a good place to start in life, or their friends were coming.\u00a0 But, no matter the reason God has blessed them for their step of faith.\u00a0 He has daily made His Word real to each of those seniors and they have listened with their hearts as well as with their heads.<\/p>\n

\"Class<\/a>Although our school greatly emphasizes missions, the majority shared that God showed them that it doesn\u2019t matter where God asks you to serve as long as you serve Him with your whole heart.\u00a0 What a good reminder it was to our own hearts \u2013 serving God where He places us and for whatever time He allows!<\/p>\n

It has been a joy for us to get to know these seniors and to have a part in their beginnings.\u00a0 Please pray for them as they continue to seek Him for guidance and direction in their lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
