Just the Facts: For approximately the next nine months of our lives, our family is based at the NTM Aviation headquarters in Arizona.\u00a0 Here, Jared will undergo missions-specific flight training and contribute to the maintenance team in this final stage of preparation for overseas service.\u00a0 Carol is learning in a class with other ladies how to effectively fulfill the role of a missionary pilot’s wife.\u00a0 Titus is starting preschool at home, and Ivan is just loving life as a two-year-old!<\/em><\/p>\n

Arizona has a very different beauty than our home State of Michigan (a little drier and pokier, you might say).\u00a0 We thought you’d like to share this evening walk with us, complete with plant life, animal life, and beautiful horizons.<\/p>\n

Prickly pear cactus (the boys know all about this one…it was the first thing they touched upon arriving at our new home!)<\/p>\n

Tarantulas aren’t dangerous to humans, but we’re told not to touch them because their hair is like fiberglass.\u00a0 Not that we were really longing to touch one, anyway…<\/p>\n

We live in a large, flat valley in the high desert.<\/p>\n
