A Pokey Kind of Pretty"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Just the Facts: For approximately the next nine months of our lives, our family is based at the NTM Aviation headquarters in Arizona.\u00a0 Here, Jared will undergo missions-specific flight training and contribute to the maintenance team in this final stage of preparation for overseas service.\u00a0 Carol is learning in a class with other ladies how to effectively fulfill the role of a missionary pilot&#8217;s wife.\u00a0 Titus is starting preschool at home, and Ivan is just loving life as a two-year-old!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Arizona has a very different beauty than our home State of Michigan (a little drier and pokier, you might say).\u00a0 We thought you&#8217;d like to share this evening walk with us, complete with plant life, animal life, and beautiful horizons.<\/p>\n<p>Prickly pear cactus (the boys know all about this one&#8230;it was the first thing they touched upon arriving at our new home!)<\/p>\n<p><a
