Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. \u00a0And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.\u00a0 Philippians 4:6-7<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Isn\u2019t it terrific that our God is ONE who cares about the details? Just wanted to touch base and thank you so much for your prayers for our travel!\u00a0 It\u2019s funny, as I look back over the different places, airports, gateways, jetways that we\u2019ve been on in the last couple of days, it\u2019s somewhat a blur.\u00a0 But I do know the Lord has been SO gracious!\u00a0 Here are some very specific answers to prayer:<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

  1. We worried- are our bags too heavy?\u00a0 Are they too many?\u00a0 The Lord took care of every detail- each bag was just barely under the weight limit, no overweight charges, and they didn\u2019t even bat an eye at the number we checked in for international travel!\u00a0 Not only that, but every piece of luggage made it all the way to Australia, and aside from a few new rips and broken clasps, all our carefully packed junk,-oops, I mean important material possessions, made it safely!<\/li>\n
  2. Would the kids do alright?\u00a0 Again- a much appreciated answer to prayer!\u00a0 Alayna slept for MOST of the big flight from LA to New Zealand, and fared very well over the whole trip.\u00a0 The boys even slept well and were a huge help in getting bags from plane to plane!<\/li>\n
  3. The Lord even blessed us with running into friends at the LA airport who were also traveling back to PNG!\u00a0 Small world!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u00a0<\/p>\n

    We are currently in Australia getting over jetlag, finishing up some supply buying, and enjoying time with the family.\u00a0 We will fly to PNG on Wednesday morning and spend a couple of days at the support center before flying into Dinangat on Friday morning.\u00a0 Thank you so much for standing with us!\u00a0 We are very excited about getting back to the work, being reunited with our wonderful coworkers and the precious Dinangat church.\u00a0 We will be in touch again soon once we are \u2018in\u2019!\u00a0 Again, thank you for praying, thank you for your sacrificial support that allows us to serve over here, and thank you for being a part of such a special year of home assignment!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
