the Dinangat Bible teachers in training to take on more responsibility and leadership in the church. For over a year now we missionaries have been meeting with them each Monday afternoon to discuss different issues in the church. These meetings often go on for several hours and it’s been neat to see how when different issues come up they themselves are going to the Word and are using it to find their answers to the difficulties they face. A few weeks ago they suggested that they meet together by themselves on Saturday to talk about different issues in the community that they should address then prepare also for our meeting on Monday. A couple weeks ago during one of our meetings the Bible teachers told us that they had heard of several sin issues among the believers in the village and said that they wanted to take it upon themselves to go to them individually and talk to them about these things to help them in their walks with the Lord.

One of the greatest joys of working among the Dinangat people is seeing the believers follow the Lord in baptism. A few Sundays ago 15 more Dinangat people were baptized in our home village. Tomorrow morning, bright and early Jordan, Judah and I, Jeremiah, will be hiking to outreach village to watch 10 more people get baptized. We are all very excited about it, except for maybe the 4 hour hike each way part.

Over the past few months we’ve seen an increasing desire from the Dinangat Bible teachers in
