Thank you all for your prayers, we\u2019ve heard from many of you saying that you are bringing us before the Lord.\u00a0 Thank you!<\/p>\n
The group of religious leaders that were planning on coming this last week hasn\u2019t made it yet.\u00a0 We have heard rumors all week, some saying that they were to come within the next few days, others saying that they weren\u2019t coming at all.\u00a0 But finally yesterday we heard on good authority that the group was held up because of community issues, but that they will begin their circuit next week.\u00a0 So we\u2019ve been told that they should be here in our village either the end of next week or sometime the week after that.\u00a0 Please keep praying that God would use this to strengthen His church.<\/p>\n
Even with the religious group not coming we\u2019ve seen the church grow.\u00a0 Many people have been studying the Word so they will be able to answer whatever opposition may come at them.\u00a0 Please continue to pray that God will be glorified through His church here in Dinangat.<\/p>\n
On a happier note\u2026 this morning I was walking in the village and a man came to me and told me that he had been looking for me and had something important to tell me.\u00a0 I could see that he was trembling so I was curious as to what he wanted to tell me.\u00a0 This man has heard the gospel, but hadn\u2019t placed his faith in Christ as his personal Savior.\u00a0 In fact he has been very involved in spirit worship and heavily steeped in the thinking of the past.\u00a0 However today he came to me and told me that he wanted to tell me that he now believes that he is unable to save himself from his sin but that he believes that Christ took his place on the cross and died for his sins.\u00a0 What an absolute joy to hear his testimony!\u00a0 This is what it\u2019s all about.<\/p>\n
