Jeremy Plays With a Taser!

September 4, 2012 by Jeremy and Mandy Hambrice

Our Missionary Technology team here at the Missionary Training Center is amazing. They are always coming up with ideas and tools that will help missionaries on the field. This particular picture is of Jeremy practicing using a taser that was turned into a venom stopper! The missionary tech guys adapted this technology to help save missionary and tribal peoples lives when they are bitten by something poisonous.

We heard incredible stories of this being used in brown recluse bights and one instance of a tribal man being bitten by a viper! You are supposed to put the shock directly on the bite and it will stop the spread of the venom and even allow your body to start to heal itself.

I hope we never get bitten, but if we do, I’m glad to know that there are men and women who are working for God’s glory coming up with inventions like these!
