A Balancing Act

August 27, 2007 by Jerry and Joyce McDaniels

Mountains

At times missionary work requires a keen sense of balance!

Today I travel to a country in Latin America where I’ll be part of a team, looking into the possibilities of placing missionaries in a new area to reach a tribal group. We will be considering security, stability, and many other factors in this decision.

Part of this trip involves a hike in a mountainous area, including crossing two gorges on 6 inch wide board “bridges,” complete with rope handrails for the traveler’s complete convenience and peace of mind. I appreciate your prayer for wisdom, health and safety during this trip.
