What a blessed time to serve our Lord! Last month found us working here in our offices at home on projects all around the world. In West Africa, a consultant did her first solo literacy curriculum writing project in a remote area. Through the internet, we were able to accompany the team through the three weeks of work, helping and answering questions.
And this was not an easy language! But now they have 6 books that systematically teach people how to read and write that language. Would you pray for the young men who helped with this project? Only one is a believer. Pray that as God’s word is translated into their language and they hear the truth, many from this people group will trust in Jesus.
This year we will be busy equipping and helping literacy consultants, training missionary candidates, preparing more literacy resources, as well as writing literacy materials in 5 to 7 more languages. How exciting that these people groups will soon be able to read God’s word in their languages! We appreciate (and NEED) your prayers.
