A milestone 42 years in the making!

December 19, 2025 by Jerry and Joyce McDaniels

December is a month that seems to sparkle a little brighter with Christmas lights, the joy of our Emmanuel, God WITH us, and those quiet moments when we look back on the year. But this December feels extra special for us. Forty‑two years ago we stepped off a plane in Panama as two young, wide‑eyed missionaries. We were trusting God to somehow use our lives and were completely unaware of the adventure God was about to unfold.

We’ve watched ministry stretch and shift in ways we never could’ve imagined—from an isolated little jungle village in Panama to circling the globe, from working in one language to many, from simple hands‑on ministry tools to software and digital communication. Through all that change, a couple of things have stayed the same: the desire God planted in our hearts for people to have full access to His Word in their own language, and the incredible gift of partners who pray, encourage, and give so generously. Your partnership is woven right into this milestone, and we’re so grateful for you!
