(Part 3) Planning & logistics
Most people picture our ministry in the moments on the field—teaching, training, and watching God’s Word take root. But long before we ever step onto a plane, there’s a whole lot of quiet, unseen work that makes those moments possible.

Research & booking travel
Every trip starts with research: comparing routes, checking schedules, watching ticket prices, and coordinating travel that often involves multiple flights and long drives into remote areas. Buying the tickets is just the beginning.
Paperwork & passports
Some countries require visas or special permissions, which means paperwork—at times even mailing our passports ahead of time for processing. It’s the kind of detail that must be done early, carefully, and correctly.
Airport logistics
Once travel is set, there’s the question of getting to and from the airport. Coordinating rides, timing arrivals, and making sure every leg of the journey is covered takes thoughtful planning.
Guest housing on the field
When we arrive, we don’t stay in hotels. We stay with missionary families or in guest housing on the field. That means coordinating lodging, meals, transportation, and schedules with the teams who host us—another layer of communication and care.
Travel into remote locations
Most workshops take place far from major cities. Getting there often involves long drives, rugged roads, or multiple transfers. Each step requires planning, flexibility, and a good sense of humor.
We appreciate (and need!) your prayers as we work through these steps to prepare for our next trip!
