We are beginning to see the fruit of some huge projects into which we have poured time. When we could not travel because of Covid we were able to write the 251-page Literacy Manual. Teams are translating it into Spanish, Portuguese, French, etc. Recently, a team in Bolivia who is teaching the literacy course had a question. We were able to send them that part of the drafted Spanish manual and that answered their question. Thank you, Lord!
Last December we filmed the Introduction to Literacy videos. The primary use is for an online missionary training course. But the videos are also a resource for those giving literacy training and the consultants on the fields. A training center in Asia Pacific wrote that the videos will be part of their missionary training. The videos were a lot of work to prepare, but we are excited to see the blessing they are to others.

Thanks for your prayers for the filming of the second part of the literacy course. This is the longer, more in-depth training that goes through all the steps of installation and then uses the literacy software to write literacy materials, how to print, teach literacy classes, and train local teachers. The whole month of June was intense as we practiced and filmed the first 5 weeks of this course.
Beginning mid-August, we will be back in front of the lights and cameras to film the last 2 weeks of this longer course. We appreciate your prayers as we finalize and practice these presentations. Then we will turn our focus to the Panama trip to train and encourage local Kuna literacy teachers. But more about that next month!
