Not going to Panama

October 30, 2007 by Jerry and Joyce McDaniels

herniated disk

Thanks so much for praying with us during these last days as I have dealt with extreme pain in my neck and shoulder. I have a herniated disk in my neck which is putting pressure on the nerves down my whole right arm.  It is a huge disappointment, but there is no way that we can make the trip to Panama for the Kuna leadership conference.

Rather than jumping right to surgery, we have decided with the doctor to try medication and physical therapy first. I will be reevaluated in two weeks, and then we’ll go from there. This is certainly NOT what we wanted, but we have peace in these decisions and keep moving forward by faith!
