Hello from Bolivia!\u00a0We are about to begin the final week of the literacy course here at the \u00a0 missionary training center. There are students from Bolivia, Paraguay,\u00a0Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru and it is so exciting to think of the\u00a0ministries that God is preparing for each of them. We have certainly come to\u00a0love and appreciate the students\u00a0and\u00a0staff here who serve so completely.<\/p>\n
This week the students will be teaching through a lesson in the primers that\u00a0they have developed during the class, including their flashcards, blackboard\u00a0exercises, writing practice. It\u2019s always a fun time (although stressful for\u00a0some) and a very practical way to pull together everything we\u2019ve been\u00a0learning. We appreciate your prayers for this last week of class.<\/p>\n
We also have had the best times with our daughter\u00a0Pam, Ryan\u00a0and the\u00a0family who have served here in Bolivia for the past year in a missionary\u00a0school. The grandkids have grown so much during this year in Bolivia. Reed\u00a0and David still enjoy \u201cforts\u201d made out of sheets over the table and dragon-slaying\u00a0adventures. We had a great day with Saddie yesterday going down to the market\u00a0to pick out material for a new dress and then visiting the modista who can\u00a0sew anything with just a picture! And Poppy makes us smile with his jokes and\u00a0plans for the future. Keep Pam in your prayers. She has been very sick with\u00a0what seems to be dengue fever. This comes as Parsons are about to begin\u00a0packing and cleaning to return to the States.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
