{"id":21,"date":"2007-07-17T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-07-17T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2009-08-25T14:30:11","modified_gmt":"2009-08-25T18:30:11","slug":"remembering-a-ginormous-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jerry-mcdaniels\/2007\/07\/17\/remembering-a-ginormous-event\/","title":{"rendered":"Remembering a GINORMOUS event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jerry-mcdaniels\/files\/2007\/07\/1157_17868.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;margin-bottom: 5px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jerry-mcdaniels\/files\/2007\/07\/1157_17868.jpg\" alt=\"first believers in the village\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportPhoto--><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"bigText-red\">In July, 1989, a ginormous event occurred in a Kuna village in Panama. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ginormous is a new adjective combining &#8220;gigantic&#8221; &amp; &#8220;enormous.&#8221; It certainly describes what God did as we, along with our missionary partners Joe &amp; Sharon Goodman, were able to present &#8220;God&#8217;s trail through Jesus Christ&#8221; for the first time to the Kuna village\u00a0in which we were living.\u00a0On that day, you gained\u00a0Kuna brothers and sisters in the Lord. A\u00a0church was born! And since that time, this <span class=\"redText\">ginormous <\/span>event has led the believers down a path of both\u00a0persecution and great joy.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We recently received another phone call from Edelfonso, and he chattered on and on about all that God is doing as the little jungle church has stepped out in faith, bringing the Gospel to two neighboring unreached villages. Building is going on right now in the villages to provide housing for the Kuna missionaries who will systematically teach God&#8217;s Book.
