Milemarker 75

June 10, 2012 by Jevon and Danica Rich

God surprised us this week by raising our support level from 62% to 78%, in one day, with one pledge from a major donor.  Right when we felt we were sort of in a “lull” with not many new opportunities to talk about missions in Brazil!  Do you think God likes to do things in a way that surprises us sometimes!?  Is it so that we keep our eyes on Him?

Passing the 75% mark is a big deal to us because, when we reach 75%, NTM leadership gives us the go-ahead to buy our tickets for Brazil while continuing to trust God and work toward the remainder of our support.

Not only is this a big encouragement, but it is also a very practical help because airplane tickets are a lower cost if we buy them far enough in advance.  With our target date of August fast approaching, we are thinking about going ahead and purchasing them now.  The only thing making us hesitate is that our paperwork is not finished yet, but the process is going along smoothly right now.

Pray that we would have wisdom when to buy tickets, and thank God with us that He is speeding us on our way to Brazil.

What a great God we serve!  And what a privilege to be partners with you servants of His who are sending us on your own prayers and finances.
