Pouring hot water over the fruit and letting it sit for half an hour.\u00a0 The water needs to be hot but NOT boiling.<\/p>\n

Pounding the fruit so the softened outer husk gets beaten off into the water.\u00a0 That’s the part you drink.\u00a0 It is very flavorful<\/p>\n

Straining the juice pulp through a sieve and throwing out the seeds.\u00a0 This is Gilvan.\u00a0 Making a\u00e7a\u00ed is old hat for him and for Jevon.\u00a0 To me it was a new cultural event.<\/p>\n
