Our coworkers, Gerolf and Mailis Wuest returned to PNG on February 27th and were planning to come up here to the Dom around March 18th. We are excited and eager to have them back with us. They will be our first partners in over 10 years (our last partners left in 2000). Please pray for us as a team and for the Wuests as they readjust to life here in the Dom, settle in and begin the arduous task of learning a language like Dom.
Alas there is a glitch in them getting back up here. We have a big landslide blocking our road. The landowners do not want it cleared until they get compensation – $25,000. Please pray that this will be resolved soon and they will allow the road to be cleared and that the road workers will pay to have the road cleared. There is a longer road in and that is not the best road and locals are demanding money before they let you through.
