As all of you know the Dom New Testament has been printed. Recently 150 copies were taken to PNG by Janie Miles and her Interface team as 10 pieces of check in luggage. Thanks so much, Janie! These New Testaments are now at our field center.
Very soon our dear friend Martin Lamb and daughter will arrive in PNG. Martin’s parents, Colin and Brenda, were our first partners in the Dom (1982-1984). On the 10th & 11th of July Martin and his daughter, together with another colleague, will take these Dom New Testaments up to the Dom. Sadly we will not be there but that is okay. We will be back among the Dom people soon enough.
Just recently Judy’s family celebrated their first reunion since 1987. What a week of fun, fellowship and food.
We are excited about the soon marriage of our son, Darren and Katie Duffy on August 1st. Pray that they get all the details worked out as they don’t arrive here in the area until after July 22nd.
Not too long ago we shared our vision for replacing our failing power system in the Dom. Our solar panels, batteries, inverter, and back up generator are so old and inefficient after two decades of use that we cannot for see them lasting through this next term of four years. Praise the Lord that many of his people generously responded with financial help that has taken us halfway to our goal. Thank you one and all. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Our time here in the States is quickly drawing to a close and the weeks ahead promise to be busy indeed.
