We have our truck back!

January 28, 2016 by James and Judy Burdett

Truck compressed 2

We got our truck back! We met up with a fellow missionary in our nearest town to pick up the vehicle. We had been using our coworkers’ truck while ours was in the shop. So our fellow missionary, Bill, drove ours up and we drove our coworkers’ down and met in the nearest town and provincial capital (howbeit a very small one) and exchanged vehicles.  It is wonderful to have our own truck back. Our coworkers will pick up theirs down at our mission center when they return from home assignment (furlough). It did turn out to be the back differential and needed to be switched out with a good used one, which is a miracle in itself that God led us to one so quickly. Plus we had all the brakes serviced, oil and filters changed. Plus a new back bumper was rigged up at the repair shop at our headquarters (the original was completely crumpled by the tow). Nothing like ingenuity. Thank you to True Hope Christian Fellowship who paid for the repairs.
