Thank you for praying for our time at Sanford, FL. We were there the month of September. We saw many friends, visited often with Judy’s parents who are at NTM Homes and Jim’s brother who is in the area. In between visiting we spent many hours reading through the Dom New Testament checking for mistakes. We were still vacillating regarding some of the way we wanted to spell some words. But we believe we got that settled. We have at least one more read through but ran out of time so will have to continue that when we return to California on November 11. We still have some decisions to make regarding printing so would appreciate prayer regarding that.

We left September 30th to continue our travels. We spent some time with Jim’s three sisters and his dad in Chattanooga. Always hard to leave family. We have seen a number of friends and had our van worked on by Righteous Rides since we were in the St. Louis area for several days. We got to spend a few hours with Judy’s niece, Katie Palmer at Asbury College. A treat was that Darren was visiting his girlfriend in Louisville so they drove to Lexington to meet us for supper and then my brother Joel and Ruthi Palmer showed up briefly before we had to say goodbye. But the next day it worked out again for Darren, Katie and us to get with Joel, Ruthi and Katie Palmer for a few hours over lunch. This unexpected visit was a treat. We also got to spend time with our hosts who are interested in missions, attending the Southern Theological Seminary there. Katie Duffy, Darren’s girlfriend, is also attending there and Darren is soon to move there, though he has been taking classes already online.
We look forward to seeing the rest of those on our scheduled stops and getting back to California and getting settled and into a routine.
Word from the Dom is that Gena continues to teach at Buala Maule and one Sunday a month at Iraulabol. Gerolf teaches on one Sunday a month, and then our two trainees, Martin and Bapka, the other two Sundays. The men and women have been busy building sleeping quarters, toilets, and a cook house for the up coming area women’s conference in November that the Iraulabol women are hosting this year. Please pray that it would not be a rainy time.
Thank you so much for your prayers as we have traveled these many miles and continue to travel many more.
