Praise: 1. Good teacher\u2019s training of 3 of the 4 women teachers. They have taken over teaching the women\u2019s Bible Study on Tuesday nights and are doing a great job.<\/p>\n

  1. Literacy is going well with 6 adults and 6 young children. Thankful for my two helpers.<\/li>\n
  2. Heather got here \u2013 another great story of God\u2019s provision.<\/li>\n
  3. For our support team \u2013 physically, spiritually, prayer, and financial.\u00a0 We are truly blessed<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Prayer: 1. Pray that the women Bible teachers won\u2019t get discouraged and quit. Shame is a huge issue in this culture.\u00a0 They can quit over the smallest thing.<\/p>\n

    1. Pray for our daughter Heather as she does have a heavy teaching load.\u00a0 Preparation keeps her busy. She is also involved in a discipleship program with the 7th<\/sup> & 8th<\/sup> grade girls along with two other women.<\/li>\n
    2. Pray that the literacy students won\u2019t get tired of coming and that they won\u2019t get discouraged and give up.<\/li>\n
    3. Pray for Ilai who is still in jail but soon to be transferred to a prison for about 8 months. One of the hardest things that we live with. Pray that he won\u2019t become angry or bitter but that he will truly seek His Lord.<\/li>\n
    4. Pray for our daughter-in-law, Katie (Darren\u2019s wife) who is due early February.\u00a0 It has not been an easy pregnancy. We are excited to meet another grandchild.\u00a0 Pray for their future as they look to God\u2019s timing for going to Thailand as missionaries.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
