One week later…

Taking it easy on the deck

Crutching it!  So this is what it’s like to hold back the tide…I mean Jim – unbelievable! 

Jim’s dr. was pleased with what his handiwork looked like five days after surgery. His attending nurse said it was the most fun she had in surgery – working with that extra tendon. That linguini-sized extra part will go a long way into strengthening his ankle. Praise the Lord

Holding class   Jim’s teaching a class on dealing with conflict biblically and we’re hosting it at home. Helps reserve his strength. .

 Visitors and friends  Our good friends the Duncans came over yesterday for a pre-birthday party for their twins.  We had a blast with them, and the crew got into signing Jim’s cast.

Care Package!  Jim’s family sent a package of goodies to cheer him up – it did.  Thanks Gang!
