So for once, being fond of food might actually be a good thing! 🙂 Trying new foods and learning their names seems to be a common way to bond with one another in Asia Pacific. From the neighbor that invited me to stop in and try her chicken soup for breakfast to our neighborhood social hours outside around the sellers that bring different treats right to your “yard’ to experiment I am saying lots of at least one word…”enak” which means “delicious”! I was even hearing about the medicinal reasons for eating dog meat the other day. Keep praying for good health! 🙂 And praise the Lord that even though it is a struggle to learn a new language…eating new foods is a fun way to visit where not a lot of words are necessary.
