In different languages, using examples can be a challenge:
-being hunted like a hawk after prey -being surrounded by enemies like a pack of wild dogs
The Nagi believe that people can take the shape of birds and animals, particularly when wanting to do sorcery on another individual. Using the example just like this, the ladies were missing the intended meaning that it was just an example and instead understanding that someone has taken on the form of a hawk or took on the form of a pack of dogs. It is because of challenges like this and things that can be ‘lost in translation’ that we spend time checking and asking questions about the understood meaning of translated materials. We want to communicate clearly. THANK YOU for prayers for wisdom in this process.
