“We learned how to plant gardens and how to fish, but not who placed the trees or the sun or the moon.  Our parents didn’t know so they couldn’t teach us.  But we are hearing God’s Word in our  language so now we are learning!”

July 6, 2015 the Nagi started hearing God’s written word in their language!  Each morning the village gathers together as Porter Hampton teaches. We started at the beginning with Creation.

Hearing God created the first man is different from the Nagi beliefs that each tribal clan name has their own origin as either a piece of coal, or a snake or a rock, etc.   “We have never heard anything else, so we just believed whatever our ancestors told us,” they said.

We are so thankful for those remembering the Nagi as they hearing and they decide if, “Awosok onokasi edo awosok unik do,” (Will I say that’s true or not?)
