Typhoon Rai Distribution to Maoy

January 21, 2022 by Jody and Barbara Crain

The most difficult place to keep moving in faith is the place of extreme pain. David the Psalmist wrote in Ps.126:5 “Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

Forty one volunteers served for 10 hours through tears as they distributed this long awaited relief. Falling onto their sleeping mats at 11 p.m. exhausted from hard physical work, but also from hearts that are broken.

David writes on in verse 6, “He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing…” The morning brought joy, with the sounds of hammers ringing through the valley as the people began rebuilding their homes.
