{"id":213,"date":"2026-08-12T14:19:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-12T18:19:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/joe-evans\/?p=213"},"modified":"2026-08-12T14:19:16","modified_gmt":"2026-08-12T18:19:16","slug":"back-to-the-usa-and-back-to-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/joe-evans\/2026\/08\/12\/back-to-the-usa-and-back-to-work\/","title":{"rendered":"Back to the USA, and back to work"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a long, but mostly uneventful trip from PNG across Australia and across the Pacific, I arrived back in the USA around the end of May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had a couple of weeks to unwind, then moved right into my new home and new ministry role at the Homes of Ethnos 360 in Sanford, Florida.  The new house is lovely- a nice, neat little 2 bedroom that is half of a duplex.  I&#8217;m also blessed to know a few of my current neighbors, some who I served with in PNG over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moving in was the easy part.  Getting to know the financial system over here has been a whole lot more interesting.  For one, the system is different than how we did things in PNG.  And they&#8217;re changing the system here, so things are very different.
