Kuna Bible Dedication

July 1, 2015 by sharon_goodman

What a privilege to be in Panama for the Kuna Bible Dedication in September!  It was a long and expensive trip for our Kuna friends to travel from the rainforest to the City.  But about 20 of them were there with us, along with 3200 other Kunas, and 500 nationals and expats, celebrating this awesome gift! They now have the complete Word of God in their heart language!  Out of the almost 7000 languages in the whole word, Kuna (current population approx. 165,000) is the 531st people group to have the complete Bible!  Watch this awesome video clip:  http://www.Bible531.com

Our dear friend Teobaldo was just a toddler when we moved into the jungle village in 1981.  As a young boy, Teo placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.  As an adult, Teo was one of the native translators, a key member of the Kuna Old Testament translation team.     Thank You, Lord!
