The New Testament Completed in Another Language<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A Celebration of God’s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today we gathered with hundreds of other people to celebrate the completion of the New Testament in the Noon Language. \u00a0It was great to see the rejoicing and celebration over God’s Word. \u00a0The pastor of our church is from this people group, so it was a big celebration for our host family. \u00a0We hope that God will continue to build his church among these people. \u00a0Rejoice with us today as you see the pictures of our celebration!<\/p>\n

Hundreds Gathered<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
80 percent of the people all wore the same fabric<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
We joined the festivities all dressed alike as well<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
The day began with a long ceremony recognizing all who had been a part of this work<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
Our kids were less than impressed with this part (I think 1 sermon is their maximum capacity)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
After the ceremony food was prepared<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
And the real festivities began<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
We all ate together<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
Bibles were handed out<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
People rejoiced together over God's Word<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
Rejoiced with Dancing<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
Women danced<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
Men Danced<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
Our pastor danced<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
They even danced with their Bibles<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
It was a great day<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
Pray that this truth will continue to be read<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
Pray that the church in this people group will grow<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Another Celebration<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yesterday I entered my thirty's<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In my 20’s I: Got married, had two chilldren, taught 3 years of high school math, completed missionary training, moved to Africa, and began learning a completely new way of life. \u00a0I am excited to see what the next 10 years has in store for me and my family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
