{"id":1312,"date":"2012-08-04T18:44:59","date_gmt":"2012-08-04T18:44:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/joel-mcmartin\/?p=1312"},"modified":"2012-08-05T09:29:04","modified_gmt":"2012-08-05T09:29:04","slug":"some-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/joel-mcmartin\/2012\/08\/04\/some-days\/","title":{"rendered":"Some Days"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Some days&#8230;<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>I am dripping in sweat the entire day<\/li>\n<li>I stare up at our open roof and want to scream<\/li>\n<li>I go outside and realize there are fewer bugs outside my house than inside my house<\/li>\n<li>I worry about how the details of how our new language helper will work out<\/li>\n<li>I don&#8217;t feel like answering our door when visitors come<\/li>\n<li>I tire of eating or drinking things I don&#8217;t recognize, don&#8217;t like, or know might make me sick.<\/li>\n<li>I get things done, but still feel like I have accomplished nothing<\/li>\n<li>I grow weary of constant correction<\/li>\n<li>I get frustrated with my children over small things like refusing to greet someone<\/li>\n<li>I wonder if God\u00a0truly\u00a0knows my limits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>I will be honest some days I can easily relate to the people of Israel. \u00a0God has done amazing things for us (provided water when we needed it, funds before even knew we needed them, encouragement and strength through the hard times). \u00a0Yet there are still days when I cry out to God just like the Israelites, &#8220;Did you bring us out into the desert to die?&#8221;
