Here is the story Ethan wrote tonight (through dictation to me) for his Grandma…<\/p>\n

“Once upon a time there were four sand\u00a0castles. \u00a0The four sand castles were way apart. \u00a02 were in Haiti and the other 2 were in Africa. \u00a0The 2 castles in Africa said, ” How do we visit the two castles in Haiti?” \u00a0The castles in Haiti said, “How can we get to the other castles waiting for us in Africa? \u00a0They are so far away and the ocean is very big.” \u00a0Then the two castles in Haiti found a boat and 2 people used shovels to scoop up the sand castles and put them in the boat. \u00a0The men took them across the ocean. \u00a0The other two castles saw the boat and said, “I think that our friends are coming” \u00a0The boat stopped and the men jumped out with the castles. \u00a0They all shouted for joy. \u00a0The End”<\/p>\n

Right there you can see it…pure joy. \u00a0We are shouting with joy as we go to Dakar tomorrow to pick up Joel’s parents and prepare to spend the Christmas season with them. \u00a0It is the best gift we could have asked for.<\/p>\n

We had help, but it was still just a lot of hard work<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

All in all everything went very smoothly<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

And everything (including our water reservoir) is over at our new house<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
