Coming into Holy week I was battling discouragement. \u00a0We have been working on language now for a year and half and yet we are still climbing that mountain. \u00a0We have a very high level of language fluency to reach and there are times that I wonder if it is possible.\u00a0 I know that we are making progress, but I am painfully aware of\u00a0 how far I still have to go.\u00a0 Some days it is hard to find the strength to keep pushing forward.<\/p>\n

Yet God is always faithful to meet me in those times of discouragement. \u00a0This past week, during my language sessions, we looked\u00a0closely\u00a0at the days before Jesus’ death.\u00a0 It was so good to be reminded what our Lord went through to reunite us with God.\u00a0 But then, most importantly, to celebrate the fact that we serve a living God! \u00a0It reminded me of the song…<\/p>\n

“Because he lives I can face tomorrow!
\nBecause he lives all fear is gone!
\nBecause I know he holds the future and life is worth the living just because he lives!”<\/p>\n

That is how I went into Easter celebrating the fact that our\u00a0Redeemer Lives.<\/p>\n

We celebrated Easter with our church and then out in the village with our host family<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
We celebrated with new clothes. (This was an outfit my mom helped purchase for someone we work with)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
We did Resurrection Rolls with the kids<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"<\/a>
Most importantly we celebrated our Risen Lord!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Pray with us this week<\/strong>
