Put snacks and water in their backpacks<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Get ready to Go<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Shake out the last sillies<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A Glimpse into this Mother’s Heart<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sending our kids off to school is never easy and especially not when that school is in another language. \u00a0I know that it is the best for them in the long run as they will know French and be better connected to life here, but it is still difficult for them. \u00a0I am thankful for such a good school and the progress they have made there, but I know it is still stretching for them, especially Ethan. \u00a0Ethan is very nervous this year about learning to read in French and in all honesty I can’t really blame him, but just have to keep reassuring him that it will come. \u00a0I believe it is the best for them and I have to trust that God will care for them even when I am not there. \u00a0I was often told as we prepared to leave that the kids will just adapt, but that is only partially true. \u00a0Kids do adapt easier, but it takes an effort for them and for us as parents to create those environments which will allow them to adapt. \u00a0It is not easy to do at times as I want to just protect my kids and save them from the struggle. \u00a0However I am seeing that they are learning that life is not just about fun all the time, but it is about doing the work God has called us to do. \u00a0But the prayer of this mother’s heart is that they will clearly see the blessings God sends their way as they willingly obey.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
