Ethan Turned 7<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We thank God for the gift of Ethan! \u00a0We have enjoyed watching him grow and change and marvel at how much progress he made. \u00a0As we held a party for his birthday it was fun to see our whole family now interacting together in French since most of his friends speak French more than English.<\/p>\n

Commissioning Paul<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Paul, one of the new believers at our church, wanted more Bible training. \u00a0Our church was able to enroll him in 6 month YWAM Bible training here in Senegal. \u00a0We prayed for him as a church as he went out and we look forward to see what God is going to do in his life during this time.<\/p>\n

Special reminders that God is caring for our needs<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The end of last year was a financially stressful time on top of all struggles we faced. \u00a0Yet God directed two people to send us gifts that lifted that burden. \u00a0It was a special reminder to me that God is caring for us and we just need to keep trusting him because he always provides. \u00a0We are so thankful for all the members of our support team, because without them our ministry here wouldn’t be possible. \u00a0God is Good!<\/p>\n

A Good Language Evaluation<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I had a language evaluation last week and both my language helper and I felt like it went really well. \u00a0I don’t have the results of the evaluation, but it was encouraging to see my progress even from my last language evaluation which was only a few months ago.<\/p>\n

A Special Visitor on Her Way<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Becca, Joel’s Sister, arrives tomorrow and we couldn’t be more excited. \u00a0We are taking the boys out of school for a workshop in Dakar, where she will lead the kids program.
