As we struggle to make adjustments and get used to life here, it is nice to see how God is already at work. \u00a0Today when I was at church I was reminded as to how God is working here and I thought I would share what God is doing.<\/p>\n

– A new Believer – <\/strong>Today there was a new man at church. \u00a0He introduced himself and shared how a missionary had shared with him about the truth in God’s word and how he came to believe that it was true. \u00a0Praise God! \u00a0This man continued to share how he has now been rejected by his family and how they do not understand why he would do such a thing.<\/p>\n

– A new African Missionary<\/strong> – Part of the reason New Tribes has started connecting missionaries with African host families, is that it allows the missionary a chance to get connected to the church. \u00a0Then when the missionary moves out to the village the church becomes a part of the sending this missionary out. \u00a0The hope is that eventually the African church will be a part of sending out its own members. \u00a0Well last Sunday was the celebration of just that. \u00a0An African family was heading out to the southern Senegal be a part of the great commission. \u00a0We hope this is only the first of many more to come.<\/p>\n

– A world wide church<\/strong> – It has been amazing seeing the church from all over the world here in Senegal. \u00a0God has brought people here from many parts of the world to work toward one common Goal. \u00a0We heard a report just recently of a meeting that our field leader had with 6 different African pastors. \u00a0They talked about how we can better work together to reach the people in Africa who have never heard. \u00a0It is so exciting to see how God is connecting people and joining them together in ways that only he can.<\/p>\n
