terrible as everyone was out getting what they needed for the holiday. All weekend there was music playing on the street as the celebrating began. The the festivities ended on Monday with a sacrificed sheep and a huge family meal. Everyone was all dress up in their finest as they headed out to the festivities, it was quite the scene to watch. We thankfully didn’t get to see the actual sacrifices, but did see a lot of the remains scattered around the neighborhood.

<figure id="attachment_374" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-374" style="width: 500px" probably one of the most relaxing and enjoyable days we have had so far. With the festivities happening the city seemed empty. For the first time since we arrived I questioned whether we would be able to find a taxi. The streets were completely empty, which made traveling very quick and simple. The boys had a blast at the beach. Tyler conquered his fear of sand and actually walked on it with his own two feet. We got a much needed day as a family, just enjoying life. We praise God for the day of rest.

<figure id="attachment_382"
