There is so much I could say, but words couldn’t express it all. \u00a0However we were very encouraged by our first trip. \u00a0We enjoyed the opportunity to connect with people there. \u00a0We feel like we were able to get a better idea of the context where our missionaries are\u00a0living. \u00a0We were able to listen to many and hear their realities and struggles and also what God is at work doing. \u00a0We learned so much and were blessed by the trip in so many ways.<\/p>\n

Where words can’t fill in the detail, we will leave pictures to do what they can. \u00a0However there are so many of even those. \u00a0So I have decided to divide it in a few posts.<\/p>\n

The first post will be what we did while we were there. \u00a0We met with 5 missionaries while down there. \u00a0Our goal was to help with language and culture learning and to get a better idea of their context and struggles. \u00a0It was my first time helping\u00a0people learning a language that I didn’t already speak. \u00a0I learned a lot and God was so faithful and proved strong even in my weakness. \u00a0While there, we also connected with the pastors, host families, language helpers and so many more. \u00a0We accomplished even more over the 10 days we were there than we thought we would. \u00a0God sure was good!<\/p>\n

While there we connected with our missionaries<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I sat in on their language sessions<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

and gave what advice I could<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We traveled by bus out to the town where one family lives<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"We<\/a>
We walked around town to see and meet those they knew<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"We<\/a>
We connected with their friends<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Did<\/a>
Did a little shopping<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Traveled<\/a>
Got\u00a0to see newborn pigs<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Participated<\/a>
Participated in Bible study and church<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Learned<\/a>
Learned about making soap<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Even<\/a>
Even participated a little in the processes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"What<\/a>
What an interesting process it was<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"We<\/a>
We traveled out to the village where they hope to work<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Met<\/a>
Met with the elders of the village and saw the land they were giving the missionaries for their house<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"We<\/a>
We met so many who we are praying will be touched by God’s truth<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"We<\/a>
We did our own laundry<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"And<\/a>
And learned a few new ways to get around<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We were so touched by what God is doing<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"We<\/a>
We are praying for the idols to be torn down<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"And<\/a>
