Summer break started for us with a visit from my parents and nephews, Jared and Isaac. \u00a0It was beyond exciting! \u00a0It was my parents second time here, but it was the first time for Jared and Isaac. \u00a0It was fun to see our home through eyes of youth visiting for the first time. \u00a0They were filled with wonder at the difference in life that they saw and did amazing during the 3 weeks when they were here with us. \u00a0The best part for me was watch my boys connect with their cousins. \u00a0This trip created so many memories for them that I know they will all cherish. \u00a0Over the time they were here we spent time at the beach, did a ropes course, went on a safari, visited a salt lake, rode camels and horses, ate with neighbors and friends, experienced normal life together and ended with a fun day in Dakar. \u00a0The time we had together was priceless.<\/p>\n

It was up quite high in the trees<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

But the kids had a blast<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Once they overcame their fears<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It ended with a long zip line that they all enjoyed<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Nexted we did a safari with the kids<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"The
The highlight was the rhino as it was the first time we had found it<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"We
We got really close to it<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Then
Then we traveled to the pink lake<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Where
Where they harvest salt my dad’s favorite food<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"They
They explained the process of harvesting the salt<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"And
And let the boys climb the salt piles<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Right
Right next to the lake was an area where you can ride camels<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"It
It is something we have never done<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"So
So we decided to give it a try<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"It
It was quite a memorable experience<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

One I am sure they will all remember<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Tyler started with my mom, but then wanted to try it on his own<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Lastly before taking the kids the airport, we took them to ride ponys<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

They all enjoyed the ride<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

And worked hard to keep their horses from getting distracted<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"But
But enjoyed feeding them at the end<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It was a time full of great memories<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"We
We are so thankful that God brought our family here to enjoy some special memories together!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It was by far the best blessing we could have been given this summer!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"It
However all good things must come to an end. \u00a0My mom and the boys left after 3 weeks. \u00a0My dad stayed for a little longer and participated in the workshop we hosted.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
