Our church tried something new this year and had a service completely run by our children. \u00a0The goal was to show our kids that church is about them too and also to help remind the adults that our kids are growing in their walk with the Lord as well. \u00a0As part of the Sunday School Teacher team, I helped to organize and put this together. \u00a0The kids got together multiple times over a few weeks to practice and prepare. \u00a0They were all really excited for the day. They handled all parts of the service except the message which was brought to us by one of the teachers who works with our kids.<\/p>\n

All the kids helped to lead worship with drums and piano being played by the kids<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

They had a few new songs to teach along with some of their favorites<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"They
They dance for the lord<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"One
One young man did a great job directing the service for us<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Then
Then there was a skit showing what they do in children’s church every week<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The service was a special time for all the kids<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"And
And a good reminder of how God is already at work in these young lives<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
